With only 20,000 rhinos left on the planet, South Africa is home to the majority of rhinos.  In fact, all the world’s rhinos don’t even come close to a tenth of South Africa population which is estimated at 18 000. The South African Government has the world’s eyes watching to see how they are tackling this slaughter of animals inside their country. More specifically, more than half of the rhinos in South Africa belong to the state. This is a look at the state’s response to the issue.
