Suspects Arrested During Level 4 Covid 19 Operation

More than twenty suspects aged between 34 and 52 years were arrested in King William’s Town for contravening the Disaster Management Act on Lockdown regulations. Police were monitoring the level 4 Lockdown when they arrested these suspects from different townships. 

In a Crime intelligence driven operation during the weekend KWT Flying Squad, K9 members together with SANDF arrested a 34 year old male from Tolofiyeni Location for dealing in drugs. 

The arrest comes after Police recieved an information about a male that is selling drugs in the village. Police proceeded to the house and on arrival they met an adult african male and upon searching the house they recovered 96×Sachets Tik

9×Quarter BOSS Mandrax tablets
1×Plastic Loose Tik to the street value of R30 000.00 and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was immediately arrested and charged for dealing in drugs. 

These suspects are appearing at King William’s Town Magistrate Court today and tomorrow.
