[VEREENIGING] – Single-vehicle rollover leaves six injured.
Six people, including four children, were left injured on Saturday, 1 February when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on the R59 near the Ring Road turnoff in Vereeniging.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 15h00 to find a light motor vehicle lying on its roof, situated in the center median.
The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that two women, and four girls, aged 2, 6, 8 and 14, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
