Free-to-air satellite TV platform Openview will be thrilling fans and making them belly laugh from the comfort of their homes when it premieres its 21 Days of comedy channel. The pop-up will run from 9 - 29 September and will be replacing eForce, which has enjoyed a five-week run and will come to a close.

The laughter-inducing channel will carry big-name uninterrupted movie titles, such as Amy Schumer's TrainWreck, Bean, Steve Martins’ Cheaper by the Dozen, Couples Retreat, Ice Age, Tooth Fairy, and Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old Virgin, Evan Almighty and Date Night.

Openview has officially surpassed 1.7m household activations, with a steady increase promising to propel the satellite platform to greater heights, Marlon David MD of e channels is delighted at the premiere of 21 days of comedy,  “Our overall marketing efforts are proving to be fruitful for South African viewers who are in search of alternative viewing experiences.
